Compare to RevitaLash which retails for $150 and carries this warning: "Only a small amount of RevitaLash is needed to produce dramatic results. Using too much product could cause redness of the eyelids. Use of over-the-counter eye drops will alleviate the redness. Do not use if pregnant or nursing" The company removed their warning page but it's on the directions insert that comes with the product. You can read about it here.

Allergan makes Lumigan a prescription glaucoma medication that contains bimatoprost a prostaglandin analog. The side effect of Lumigan was the stimulation of eyelash growth. Bimatoprost was the active ingredient in Revitalash but after the legal dispute Allergan started marketing Latisse and Revitalash had to discontinue the use of Bimatoprost. So the ingredient in Latisse, bimatoprost, has been around a long time in some form or fashion."
