Our sister company, ChemoDiva, is involved in Club Libby Lu and their efforts at St. Jude's Children's Hospital, making the day special for little girls who have cancer. We're also communicating with Michelle's Place, a wonderful support and resource facility that invites anyone to their facility who's involved in cancer treatment or who is a cancer survivor. We're excited about the possibility of teaching group or private make-up application workshops to their clients who've lost their hair due to treatment from cancer-killing drugs/chemotherapy. Eyebrows are important! What makes our program different than others currently offered is that our classes and consulting is never presented in a hospital or medical setting -- we figure cancer patients have had enough of doctors and hospitals!

Did you know that Roller Derby is alive and well!? My family and I joined the OC Roller Girls in their "Battle on the Base" double header event held in September and we had a ball! There was plenty of action and the volunteer effort was amazing.
Here's some photos of me and the OC Roller Girls Sponsorship Coordinator, "Cupcake Von Rotten". A portion of Ticket, Raffle, Food and Beverage sales from the event benefited the Wounded Warrior Project and also local soldiers and their families in need. The eagle art was my company's raffle donation, a gift given to me when I was active duty USAF.

This beautiful piece of eagle art was presented to me by my father, Captain Thomas Michael 
O'Brien, USMC (Ret), in 1989 when I returned from a deployment to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in support of Operation Desert Storm.
I come from a long line of military members and patriots, which motivated me to join the USAF in the first place. I initially signed up for four years just to qualify for the GI Bill so I could go to college, but, ended up sticking around for over 20 years and retired as a First Sergeant.
My husband is a Veteran of many conflicts too, along with my step-son, Aaron, who participated in Operation Enduring Freedom as a Security Forces troop. OOOOoooorah!
The Make Sense Foundation is a non-profit entity with a commitment to Women and Children in Crisis. It exists through Corporate Donations by SeneGence International, Distributor Donations and sales of MakeSense semi-permanent foundation and SeneGence professional Brushes.
All SeneGence Distributors voluntarily donate their time to present make-up techniques and discuss proper skin care with their clients, and many regularly donate a percentage of their cosmetic sales to the The Make Sense Foundation.
