The Celebrity Lipstick crew is very proud of our Philanthropic affiliations and involvement in worthwhile, nationwide and local community organizations. We support great groups such as Working Wardrobes and the Wounded Warrior Project. And just this year in 2011, our team became involved in a neat local organization called, "Charity for Charity (more info below). Please click on these links to learn more about their efforts and consider donating your time and talent too!
Our sister company, Chemo Diva, was involved twice a year in Club Libby Lu and their efforts at St. Jude's Children's Hospital, making the day special for little girls who have cancer. Unfortunately, Club Libby Lu closed in January 2009 but Celebrity Lipstick makeup artists and stylist will continue working with young girls in other ways. Please contact us if you know of a young lady who needs something fun like a Princess Party and we'll do our best to make her wish come true!
We also support Michelle's Place, a wonderful resource facility located near us that invites anyone who's involved in cancer treatment or who is a cancer survivor. They welcome friends and families of cancer patients as well with classes and workshops, education and more.
"Chemo Diva makeup artists and team stylists teach group and private make-up application and wig workshops to women who've lost their hair due to treatment from cancer-killing drugs/chemotherapy, Alopecia or TTM. Eyebrows are important, we know! and it's so true: If you look good on the outside, you'll feel better on the inside!"
What makes our cancer recovery beauty program different than others currently offered is that our workshops and consulting is never presented in a hospital or medical setting. We figure cancer patients or anyone with a hair-loss issue have had enough of doctors and hospitals and need a break. Contact us if you'd like to meet for a free makeover or just consult with a MUA over the phone or via Skype at (951) 317-0125. We can tell you about ultra-moisturizing, doctor-recommended skin care products so that your skin can heal and your focus is on recovery.

Charity for Charity is a non-profit organization that raises funds to fulfill the wishes of local residents with special needs whether it medical, financial or other. The board of directors is made up of friends, all volunteering 100% to make a difference in their community. Each year, Charity for Charity selects an adult and a child as its beneficiaries and grants their wish at the big event in the beginning of each year, "Stars of the Valley" Awards Party and Benefit.
Teamed up with Stylist Ricardo Caballero (who's often found at the Playboy mansion), we managed to get over 15 women ready for their "red carpet event" held at the famous Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, California.

The Make Sense Foundation is a non-profit entity with a commitment to Women and Children in Crisis. It exists through Corporate Donations by SeneGence International, distributor donations ,and sales of MakeSense semi-permanent foundation and SeneGence professional Brushes. Read a great article from the Direct Sales News on how The Make Sense Foundation began and continues today, helping so many across the USA!
All SeneGence Distributors voluntarily donate their time to present make-up techniques and discuss proper skin care with their clients, and many regularly donate a percentage of their cosmetic sales to the The Make Sense Foundation. Of course, Celebrity Lipstick and our affiliate company, Chemo Diva, donate financially to this wonderful organization by giving 5% of all profit from retail sales and fund raisers.

Here's another great organization that SeneGence International and Celebrity Lipstick supports!
It's called "The Pampered Lady Cruise" and is hosted by an affiliate of Parenting Magazine.
This event is an all-inclusive afternoon of spa treatments, makeovers, massage, dance lessons, give-aways, delicious food and beverages and more, all aboard a luxury ship that cruises the Newport Harbor in Southern California all afternoon. What a fun day for you and a few girlfriends!
The effort celebrates National Breast Cancer Awareness Month(October), and large portion of ticket sales and vendor donations goes toward breast cancer research.
This will be my third opportunity to participate in this event and I'm excited to make new friends and donate my time, money and effort to such a worth cause.
My mother is a recent cancer survivor and unfortunately, cancer has likely touched most of us in one way or another either personally or through someone we know. Maybe you can think of a way to donate your time and money to find a cure for cancer or maybe you already do.
If you'd like to book this cruise or another in the future, please go the Pampered Lady Cruise website and I'll see you there next time!
Roller Derby is alive and well! My family and I joined the OC Roller Girls in their "Battle on the Base" double header event held every September 2010 and we had a ball!

There was plenty of action and the volunteer effort was amazing. Roller Derby is a very family-oriented sport as we always see lots of kids and spouses of the team, and lots of fans with kids too.
A portion of Ticket, Raffle, Food and Beverage sales from this event benefited the Wounded Warrior Project and also local soldiers and their families in need. Celebrity Lipstick donated a very nice prize for their raffle and fetched a whoppin' $243.
Friends, supporting our soldiers is not about politics. I am, myself, a Veteran, as is my spouse and my father. Show your support, thank our troops and honor their service by sending a free message through the USO by clicking here. Thank you!
